About the Instructor/Guide: Ruby Rowan is an avid, feisty, zaftig canoeist. She has been canoeing for over a decade and has had the pleasure of paddling with everyone from pubescent boys to post-menopausal primadonnas. Her first paddle was marked by whitecaps on Canoe Lake and ravenous raccoons. In her non-canoeing life, she's a councellor, musician and promoter of healthy sexuality. She looks very forward to a lifetime of connecting with the waters.
