The Toronto Women's Bookstore invites you to submit your work of fiction,
non-fiction, poetry and spoken word to "When the Rainbow Isn't Enough".
The purpose of When the Rainbow Isn't Enough is to provide a supportive
environment for new and emerging queer and trans writers of colour and
two-spirited writers to share their work, share resources and build
networks. All readings will take place at the Toronto Women's Bookstore on
the last Friday of the month.
Theme for January 26: Letting Go/New Beginnings
Theme for February 23: Passion, Desire and Rejection
Theme for March 30: Health and Wellness, focus on HIV/AIDS
Theme for April 27: Love Letters
Theme for May 25: Mothers & Mothering

- We do not accept submissions by email or by fax, thank you
- Indicate which month you are applying for
- Please connect your submissions to the theme(s) of the month
- Fiction and non-fiction should be 2500 words maximum, typed, double-
spaced and 12 font. Poetry up to 10 pages
- Please include a short biographical note and your contact information
(email address and phone number)
- Please include a self-addressed stamped envelope, if you wish to have your
submission returned
